As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in the development, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.  As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive engineering design, development and systems integration processes for avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of avionics solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications.
  • Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems.
  • Conduct trade studies and feasibility analyses to support decision-making for avionics development and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface control documents.
  • Coordinate and conduct system-level and subsystem-level testing
  • Identify potential risks in the development and integration process, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to avionics system
