Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Automation Engineer to support the development and implementation of PLC and motion applications for our downstream systems. In this role, you will work hands‑on with modern automation technologies, collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, and contribute directly to the performance and reliability of our machinery.

  • Develop, adapt, and maintain PLC and motion software in Siemens TIA Portal
  • Perform functional and integration testing during in‑house commissioning
  • Analyse system behaviour and support troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality assurance
  • Configure drives and implement a variety of motion‑related tasks
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and project engineering to ensure smooth technical integration
  • Prepare for and support machine commissioning at customer sites
  • Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of technical documentation and internal standards

Qualifications

  • Experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens Step7 Classic, and Bosch Rexroth
  • Foundational knowledge of motion applications or strong motivation to deepen expertise
  • Solid technical understanding of machinery or plant engineering
  • Good English proficiency and readiness to travel internationally
  • Structured, reliable working style with strong collaboration skills
  • Openness to learning and developing new automation and motion technologies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Mechatronics
