  • The Role: A Data Engineer role for someone experienced in BI and Data & Analytics environments delivering end-to-end data solutions. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines, implementing Snowflake transformations, designing analytical data models, and preparing data for Power BI consumption.
  • Requirements: Advanced SQL expertise, strong experience in analytical data modeling, and hands-on experience with Snowflake are required. The role also expects experience preparing data for Power BI and working in an Agile / Scrum environment.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Data Engineer. He/she will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing end‑to‑end data solutions within Business Intelligence and Data & Analytics environments. He/She will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable, high‑quality data solutions.

    What is this all about?

    • Analyses business requirements and design end‑to‑end (E2E) data solutions
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines in BI and analytics environments
    • Implement transformations, procedures, and tasks in Snowflake
    • Design and maintain efficient, scalable analytical data models
    • Optimize SQL queries and data processes to improve performance and cost efficiency
    • Prepare and expose data for consumption in Power BI and other analytical tools
    • Collaborate on the definition of metrics, KPIs, and semantic models
    • Work in an Agile / Scrum environment with technical and business teams
    • Present progress, solutions, and recommendations to international stakeholders in English
    • Document data architectures, processes, and developments, and propose continuous improvements

    Qualifications

    Who are you?

    • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in BI and Data & Analytics environments
    • Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries and procedure development
    • Strong experience in analytical data modeling
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (transformations, procedures, tasks)
    • Strong analytical mindset and E2E solution design capabilities
    • Ability to work independently, from requirements gathering to delivery
