Job Title: Accounting Control – Entity Close UK Local Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst

Location: Manila

Corporate Title: Senior Analyst

The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. Local Regulatory Reporting Team is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive local regulatory reports (prudential & statistical forms) and related analysis for UK Regulated Entities, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory and control frameworks.  You will be producing reports submitted by the team to different stakeholders for quality assurance and validation & control before the said reports will be submitted UK regulators.  Your role will help hone your stakeholder management skills as you will have the opportunity to closely interact with other Entity Close UK teams, Regional Finance teams, and other support functions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Prepare inputs to the financial reports in scope, covering data gathering, data polishing, data reporting and submission
  • Engage and collaborate with various teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks and fortify controls
  • Take part in initiatives to improve processes and maximize efficiencies including UAT and Operational Readiness activities for significant project implementations
  • Monitor, measure, and improve performance against SLAs and KPIs

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
  • Background in the fields of Accounting, Finance or Audit of Banking or Financial Services industry with at 2 years of solid experience
  • Local Regulatory Reporting experience is an advantage
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
