Job Description
Company Description
Managing business expenses shouldn’t be a guessing game. Yet many SMEs still lack clear cash flow visibility and spend control. At Budgetly, we’re changing that.
We’re building an AI-first platform that simplifies expense management and helps businesses make better financial decisions, faster. The goal is simple: help you spend smarter, save time, and grow profitably.
Most companies are using AI to help engineers write code faster. We’re doing something different. We’re building AI agents across the entire company, not just engineering. Sales, marketing, onboarding, and support are all being rebuilt around agentic workflows.
What success looks like in 12 months
- Search becomes a predictable and scalable acquisition channel
- Organic traffic and rankings consistently improve
- Paid search delivers strong ROI and efficient conversions
- Website performance meets or exceeds Core Web Vitals benchmarks
- AI is embedded into search workflows (SEO, SEM, AEO)
- Revenue growth is supported by high-quality inbound demand
Job Description
What you’ll actually do
This isn’t a traditional marketing role. You won’t just optimise campaigns or tweak keywords. Your focus is building a scalable performance marketing engine that drives real revenue outcomes. You’ll own search end-to-end, from technical SEO and AI search optimisation through to paid acquisition and performance analytics.
Your day to day
- Own and improve organic and paid search performance
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexation, site health)
- Build and optimise paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads)
- Improve website performance impacting rankings and conversions (Core Web Vitals)
- Develop reporting systems across GA4, Search Console, and ad platforms
- Run ongoing experimentation (keywords, landing pages, bids, technical fixes)
- Build AI agents to automate workflows and scale execution
Qualifications
This role requires strength in two areas:
1. Search Systems Thinking
You don’t just optimise, you build systems. You understand how search channels work end-to-end and can design scalable frameworks that compound over time.
2. Technical & Analytical Depth
You can go beyond surface-level SEO. You understand how websites, data, and performance systems actually work and can translate insights into action.
What we need from you
- 3+ years experience in SEO, SEM, or performance marketing (agency or in-house)
- Strong technical SEO knowledge (site architecture, crawlability, indexation)
- Experience with paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads)
- Strong data analysis skills (GA4, Search Console, reporting tools)
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and performance
- Experience building or working with AI agents (e.g. Claude code)
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing tools)
- Ability to translate data into clear actions and outcomes
- Strong systems thinking and experimentation mindset
