Job Description

About Wildcard

Wildcard helps ecommerce brands win in AI shopping. We show brands where their products appear across AI surfaces, where competitors are winning, what changes will improve visibility, ranking, and business outcomes, and we build agents and workflows that help automate that execution.

We’re building at the intersection of AI, ecommerce, and agentic commerce, and we’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern to work closely with the founding team.

This is not a low-impact internship. You’ll work on real product and engineering problems that matter to customers and the business.

You may work on:

  • Full-stack product features
  • AI workflows, agents, and internal tools
  • Browser automation and data pipelines
  • Experiments, new product surfaces, and internal apps

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is strong technically and learns fast
  • Likes building and shipping
  • Is excited by startups and ambiguity
  • Has experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Node, or similar tools
  • Is curious, high-energy, and eager to take ownership

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience/projects building agents
  • Prior startup internship experience
  • Experience using LLM APIs or AI coding tools in real projects
  • Experience shipping a side project, product, or hackathon project end-to-end
  • Familiarity with browser automation, scraping, or workflow tooling
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, or background jobs
  • Comfort working across the stack, not just frontend or backend
  • Strong product instinct and interest in building for real users

If you want real responsibility, fast learning, and a front-row seat to building an early-stage company, we’d love to hear from you.
