  • The Role: An Environmental and Sustainability Engineer who will support and strengthen environmental and ESG strategy within a global aerospace supply chain organisation.
  • The Person: Maintain and improve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, support EcoVadis assessments, ensure compliance with environmental legislation, and drive environmental improvements including data collection, reporting, and audit activity.
  • Requirements: Proven experience in an environmental or sustainability role, strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and experience supporting or coordinating EcoVadis submissions.

Job Description

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global aerospace supply chain organisation committed to continuous improvement and responsible business practices.

This is a brand-new opportunity for an Environmental & Sustainability Engineer to join the Quality department, supporting the business as it continues to develop and strengthen its environmental and ESG strategy.

This standalone role, reporting into the Group Head of Quality and working closely with the wider Quality team, will be responsible for maintaining and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, supporting EcoVadis assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.

You will work cross‑functionally across the business, driving environmental improvements, maintaining policies and procedures, and supporting data collection, reporting, and audit activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership and visibility within a global organisation.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven experience working in an environmental or sustainability role
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
  • Experience supporting or coordinating EcoVadis submissions
  • Understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to influence and support change
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach
  • Passionate about sustainability and continuous improvement
