Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Developer with 10+ years of expertise in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, React (or Angular), and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong microservices experience, deep knowledge of REST APIs, and hands-on exposure to event-driven architectures and modern DevOps practices. This role also involves working on high-performance distributed systems and contributing to next-generation AI-enabled solutions.

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java (JDK 17), Spring Boot, and React or Angular.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices with strong focus on scalability and security.
Implement API security including authentication and authorization frameworks.
Develop event-driven solutions using AWS services (SNS, SQS), Kafka, and/or MQ.
Work extensively with AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and/or GitHub.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.
Support integration of Agentic Gen AI capabilities into applications where applicable.
(Nice to have) Develop BI and reporting solutions using Power BI, SSRS, and related Microsoft BI tools.
(Nice to have) Write and optimize complex SQL, DAX, Power Query, R, and T-SQL queries for reporting and analytics.

Required Skills:

10+ years of full stack development experience.
Strong expertise in Java (JDK 17), Spring Boot, and REST API development.
Front-end experience with React or Angular.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and API security.
Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, SNS, SQS, MQ).
CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub.
Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong SQL and database knowledge.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Experience with Agentic AI / Generative AI implementations.
BI tools experience (Power BI, SSRS, Power BI Embedded).
Advanced data querying (SQL, DAX, Power Query, R, T-SQL).

Experience:

10+ years in enterprise application development.
Proven experience building cloud-native, microservices-based architectures.
Experience working in Agile environments with distributed teams.
Background in DevOps practices and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
