- The Role: An experienced IT project manager will support large-scale telecom and enterprise delivery initiatives by partnering with the client’s Lead Project Manager to drive planning, execution, and delivery across multi-vendor environments.
- The Person: The person will act as the primary interface for client leadership and vendors, develop and manage end-to-end project plans, monitor execution and risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead post-implementation reviews.
- Requirements: Required skills include 7+ years of IT project management experience in telecom or enterprise environments, experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies, and PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.
Job Description
CTG is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support large-scale telecom and enterprise delivery initiatives. This role will partner closely with the client’s Lead Project Manager to drive planning, execution, and delivery across complex, multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface for client leadership, vendors, and internal delivery teams
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, including scope, schedule, financials, and quality metrics
- Integrate managed scope into overall enterprise project plans and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Monitor project execution, provide status reporting, and proactively manage risks and issues
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies across applications and delivery streams
- Lead post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT project management experience in telecom or enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in project planning, risk management, and multi-vendor coordination
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to manage complex programs with cross-functional dependencies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience aligning testing activities with project schedules and coordinating E2E testing
- Familiarity with Scrum teams, Epics, and User Stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Ability to drive commitments across external teams and ensure timely delivery updates
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
