Job Description

CTG is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java (LTS) and Quarkus to support our client’s Cloud Managed Services / AMS team. This role focuses on building high-performance APIs, integrating with third-party vendors, and contributing to scalable, secure application design.

Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications using Java (LTS), Quarkus, Azure SQL, and REST APIs
Design and implement scalable, secure API solutions and backend services
Collaborate with third-party vendors for API integration, issue resolution, and technical alignment
Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and specifications
Lead and participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
Support production systems, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Java (latest LTS) and Quarkus
Hands-on experience with Azure SQL / SQL Server
Expertise in RESTful API design and development
Experience with technical documentation and system design
Proven ability to work with external vendors and API integrations

Nice to Have:

Spring Boot, React JS
Node.js / TypeScript
Event-driven or middleware integrations
Headless CMS experience

Experience & Education:

5+ years of full-stack or backend development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
