  • The Role: Lead a team to design, build and maintain the Secure GPT service and its APIs, ensuring feature delivery aligns with product vision and compliance requirements.
  • The Person: Lead and mentor developers, define and prioritise user stories, develop Secure GPT API features, handle incidents and API operations, and ensure security and compliance for the service.
  • Requirements: Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Github/DevOps, API operations, Azure monitoring, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep), agile practices and CI/CD.

About the job Main missions Your responsibilities include: Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of new features and enhancements for the Secure GPT service, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality features that meet acceptance criteria and align with the product vision. Define and prioritize user stories based on business value and user needs, and manage the product backlog to reflect the latest priorities and business objectives. Develop new functions and enhancements around Secure GPT API usage while identifying opportunities for improvement in API Operations processes, particularly in observability automation and customer service delivery. Take ownership of service issues and incidents, troubleshooting and resolving API-related issues to ensure seamless user experience and high service availability, and serving as a point of escalation for stakeholders seeking assistance. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards related to the Secure GPT service. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, provide updates, and align on product direction, collaborating with the broader Secure GPT international team to deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders. Expected skills & experience We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3-5 years in a lead or senior role Proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of complex software projects Experience in managing and mentoring a team of software engineers Technical skills JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js) for the backend Github / DevOps experience Experience in API operations and management Competence in monitoring resources on Azure Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform and/or Bicep for automatic infra deployment Expertise in software design patterns, architecture principles, and development methodologies Familiarity with agile software development practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Git, CI/CD) Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques Soft skills English : Independent user (C1) Ability to travel / ability to be relocated for short periods in other countries (France/Spain/Portugal) Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate a team, provide guidance, and make decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing business requirements Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Commitment to continuous learning and professional development What we offer We bring together the expertise, cultural diversity and creativity of over 8,000 employees worldwide and we’re committed to equal opportunities in all aspects of employment (gender, LGBT+, disabled persons, or people of different origins) and to promoting Diversity & Inclusion by creating a work environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and where individual differences are valued.
