  • The Role: A trainee operational risk analyst role in an insurance group headquarters supporting operational risk assessment, modelling and reporting for AXA SA.
  • The Person: Perform operational risk identification and assessment, define and quantify risk scenarios, compute STEC, collect loss data, monitor KRIs and report operational risks and incidents to group committees and risk management.
  • Requirements: Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration or Engineering specializing in Insurance & Risk Management, experience in risk management ideally in insurance, knowledge of (re)insurance and Solvency II regulation, risk modeling and use of RStudio, fluent French and proficient English C1.

Within Group Internal Control, you will join the AXA SA Operational Risk & Internal Control team as Operational Risk Analyst. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operational risk identification and assessment through workshops with first lines Operational risk scenarios definition, modelling and quantification in line with Group Risk Management Standards Monitoring Operational Risk Appetite and alert on any breaches Operational Risk Short Term Economic Capital (STEC) computation and aggregation Loss data and incident collection on a quarterly basis, reporting to Group Operational Risk Management Key Risk Indicators monitoring and reporting on a quarterly basis Reporting to AXA SA Operational Risk & Internal Control Committee on top operational risks and AXA SA contribution to Group Internal Model Updating and reviewing operational risk policies Monitoring Information risks with specific Key Risk Indicators, action plans and reporting to Group Information Risk YOUR PROFILE Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration / Engineering, specializing in Insurance & Risk Management Experience in risk management ideally in insurance sector, knowledge in (re)insurance business and Solvency II regulation, risk modeling / use of RStudio is a plus Fluent in French, proficient in English (C1 at least both in writing and speaking) Proven high reliability, quality and timeliness of deliverables Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team Proficient writing and communicating skills (delivery of presentations, documentations) - WHY JOIN US You will join: A responsible company, towards people, including its employees and customers, and towards the planet A company with strong values A company promoting internal mobility and the training of its employees A company offering many benefits (learn more here: AXA Careers) A flexible company, allowing hybrid work, in the office and from home.
