Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop platform performance validation methodologies, key performance indicators, and landing zones.
- Drive execution of performance validation plans, including reporting and documentation of results.
- Analyze and optimize platform-level performance under specific usage scenarios by developing and using performance benchmarks.
- Execute platform-level debug to identify root causes of performance issues and resolve functional and triage failures.
- Develop postsilicon validation infrastructure, such as performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and test environments for validation testing.
- Configure and set up data logging systems for performance data collection and analysis.
- Publish and present performance validation reports, summarizing validation activities and communicating results to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external customer-focused teams to replicate, debug, and assess the impact of performance issues.
- Partner with IP, SoC, and software engineering teams to enhance platform engineering methodologies and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience per business needs.
- 0-1+ years of experience in performance validation or related fields with a Bachelor's degree or no experience required with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in platform performance analysis and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of performance validation methodologies and benchmarks.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis tools for performance testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a disciplined execution approach.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to drive solutions.
- Familiarity with platform architecture for validation and debug.
