Are you a people-focused engineering leader with a strategic vision? Do you excel at building not just innovative products, but also high-performing agile teams? We are looking for an inspiring Engineering Manager to lead and grow our dedicated team of 26 engineers, shaping the future of indoor units for our residential heat pump products.

  • Key responsibilities
    • Team Leadership & Development
      • Directly lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of approximately 26 engineers. You will be responsible for their career growth, fostering a collaborative and innovative team spirit, and shaping the team's long-term strategic direction.
         
    • Strategic & Technical Ownership
      • Drive the technical vision for our indoor unit product line. You will guide the team through the entire development lifecycle, from requirements engineering to final integration and testing, ensuring we deliver on specifications, timelines, and cost targets.
         
    • Technical & Competence Development
      • Guide the team's technical growth and manage its core competencies. You will be responsible for developing the skills of your engineers while assuring the quality of the results and deliverables from the team.
         
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Act as a key partner to other departments, including manufacturing, modules, purchasing and product management. You will champion your team's work and ensure seamless collaboration across the entire product development ecosystem to bring our vision to life.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

Education

  • Degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics) or a similar qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in product development, ideally in HVAC, thermal systems, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing engineering teams in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Know-how

  • Strong understanding of system and product development processes.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and modern development frameworks.
  • Ability to manage technical complexity and align it with business objectives.

Languages

  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Working Style and Methods

  • Structured, strategic, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities.
