Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Media & Social Campaigns
Make an impact through innovative digital marketing initiatives in the insurance sector. Contribute to high-visibility campaigns across leading digital platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver engaging customer experiences in a dynamic hybrid work environment.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $37-42 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $40-50 per hour.
• 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• Hybrid work with 2 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives across digital display, paid search, paid social, online affiliate, external partnerships, and email channels.
• Support paid media and digital marketing initiatives across platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, Amazon, and Netflix.
• Assist with campaign development, media brief creation, agency coordination, creative asset quality assurance, pixel placement, performance tracking, campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Creative Services, Legal, Compliance, and agencies, to successfully launch marketing initiatives.
• Manage the end-to-end content review and translation processes, including branding, legal, and compliance approvals.
• Proofread copy and images and coordinate final approvals for marketing initiatives.
• Manage marketing budgets and forecasts to support business growth objectives.
• Track, report, and analyze the performance of digital marketing initiatives to support campaign strategies.
• Build and execute A/B testing strategies using Adobe Target.
• Partner with the team to test new channels and technologies that support innovation and client acquisition.
• Document and maintain current processes and internal best practices.
• Work closely with agencies and internal teams to optimize marketing initiatives that enhance customer experience and acquisition.
• Collaborate with growth marketing and sales leadership to deliver marketing and communication initiatives that support business objectives.
• Support marketing operations and identify process efficiencies to improve speed to market.
What you will need to succeed:
• Degree or certificate in Marketing or Communications.
• 1–3 years of digital marketing experience.
• Experience managing marketing campaigns or projects.
• Experience with paid search and paid social media campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience delivering direct-to-consumer digital marketing programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing performance-based digital marketing campaigns.
• Sound understanding of direct response marketing and conversion rate optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, deadlines, and budgets in a high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Creative thinking skills and a proactive, curious approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with copywriting for paid search and social media advertising is considered an asset.
• Experience with Agile marketing or development is considered an asset.
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics is considered an asset.
• Experience with CRM tools and marketing technologies is considered an asset.
