The Role:This is a data architecture role for an experienced professional focused on designing modern data solutions for business decision-making.
The Person:The person will design and implement modern data architectures, define data modelling and architecture standards, build data lakes, data warehouses and lakehouse architectures, and work with engineers, analysts and stakeholders.
Requirements:The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or Information Systems, plus experience with modern data architectures, data modelling, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, ETL/ELT, SQL, Python and Apache Spark.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
Proven experience designing and implementing modern data architectures
Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques (conceptual, logical and physical)
Experience designing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Lakehouse architectures
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with modern data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift or BigQuery
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration and distributed data architectures
Experience defining data standards, governance principles and architecture best practices
Knowledge of SQL, Python and Apache Spark is valued
Ability to collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts and business stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are a plus
Fluency in English
