The Role:A principal software engineer is needed to design and build healthcare analytics products that use modern analytics, ML and AI.
The Person:The person will build platform features and healthcare analytics products, architect and implement analytics, ML and AI solutions, own quality, partner with product leaders, and mentor engineering teams.
Requirements:The role requires a B.S. or M.S. degree, 8+ years of software engineering and/or data engineering experience, AWS or similar cloud experience, Java, C#, Python, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, React, Angular, Vue.js, AI/ML integrations, Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

The Principal Software Engineer will play a critical role in the design, development, and evolution of our customer-facing analytics, ML, and AI applications and data platforms. As a key leader of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the technical strategy, deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. You will also mentor junior engineers, provide technical oversight, and ensure the team is aligned with the overall strategic vision.You are responsible for ensuring that all software developed by one or more teams at HHA meets our standards for quality, performance, scalability, availability and security by working alongside team members to develop innovative solutions to customer problems.

This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the US only.

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $165,000-180,000/yr, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
