About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Regional IT Infrastructure Lead based in Nairobi, Kenya (relocation required). You’ll be part of the HQ team, responsible for IT operations in Kenya and regional infrastructure delivery, keeping performance and service consistent with Group standards.

You’ll be a part of a purpose-led team shaping progress across Africa’s evolving markets. If making a real impact and working in diverse cultures excites you, this is your opportunity.

What you’ll own

  • Own day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure support in Kenya

  • Scaling IT infrastructure to support a fast-growing team

  • Keep local networks, servers, endpoints, and office sites/tech working smoothly

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure services

  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery solutions across systems

  • Handle troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, and user issues

  • Coordinate installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance for local systems

  • Manage local vendors (network providers, hardware suppliers, support partners)

  • Maintain local IT inventory, documentation, and follow group standards

  • Support onboarding/offboarding and maintain local user access and devices

  • Work closely with Group IT to roll out regional projects, policies, and tooling

  • Help standardize infrastructure, security practices, and service processes across the region

  • Monitor performance, risks, and improvement opportunities, escalating when needed

  • Support regional budget planning and vendor management alongside regional management

  • Provide regional reporting, visibility, and input into infrastructure roadmaps

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years in IT infrastructure/systems/network support roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with office/site networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching)

  • Windows and/or Linux admin skills; comfortable with endpoints and user support

  • Experience supporting multi-site environments or regional operations

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership end-to-end

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to process efficiency and performance improvement

  • Great communication skills: you can talk to both non-technical users and technical peers

What we offer:

  • Full relocation support

  • Housing allowance and periodic flights back to your home country

  • Annual performance bonus and generous referral program

  • Health insurance from Day 1

  • Collaborative culture with autonomy to take initiative and lead improvements
