Founding UI/UX & Graphic Designer.

About the Role

This is a founding design role at a Y Combinator-backed consumer wearable startup, where you will own the entire visual presence of the product and brand. From the iOS app to the website, social channels, and launch collateral, your taste and craft will define how users experience the product at every touchpoint. It's a rare opportunity to set the design language from day one and grow into a design leadership position as the company scales.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end UI/UX design for the iOS app.

• Lead design across the website, social channels, communications, and email.

• Create event invitations and launch collateral that embody the brand.

• Define and maintain a unified consumer design language across all touchpoints.

What We're Looking For

• 2–8 years of design experience with a standout portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design fundamentals and exceptional taste.

• Proficiency in Figma and a broad consumer design stack spanning mobile, web, and marketing collateral.

• Experience delivering polished, user-facing design at a consumer company, or equivalent training from a rigorous design programme.

• Exceptional aesthetic sensibility suited to a premium consumer hardware brand.

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of a wide design remit.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary of £70,000 GBP annually, plus meaningful early-stage equity (up to 1–2%). Visa sponsorship is not available; H1B transfers are supported.

Location

Primary location is London, United Kingdom (on-site). Candidates based in San Francisco or elsewhere may also be considered.
