Forward Deployed Engineer.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing full-stack engineering role at an early-stage healthtech startup building operational software for healthcare staffing groups. You'll work directly with clinical and operational customers to translate their needs into shipped product — bridging the gap between the field and the codebase on a small, fast-moving team.

What You'll Do

• Build front-end and back-end features using TypeScript, React, Node, Deno, and SQL.

• Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions quickly.

• Deploy and operate services on AWS and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.

• Travel frequently for on-site customer engagements and deployments.

• Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping, moving ideas to shipped code with speed and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.

• Backend development experience using Node.js and/or Deno.

• Comfortable writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.

• Experience deploying or operating services on AWS.

• Strong customer-facing communication skills — ability to work directly with clinical or operational teams.

• High emotional maturity and a collaborative, low-ego working style.

• Ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfort in an ambiguous, early-stage environment.

• Open to early-career candidates and recent graduates with strong building ability.

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

• Willing to be based in Miami, FL (relocation from anywhere in the US is welcome).

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary up to $80,000, with a total compensation target of $120,000–$150,000 including equity and covered travel, housing, food, and transportation costs. No visa sponsorship available.

Location

On-site in Miami, Florida. Relocation-friendly for candidates based anywhere in the US. Frequent travel required for customer engagements.
