Job Description
A cyber engineer who bridges the gap between infrastructure and security operations. They deploy, manage, and optimize the platform to provide security teams with deep network visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Deployment: Lead the physical, virtual, and cloud-based deployment and the Open NDR SaaS platform across diverse enterprise architectures
- Data Integration & Pipelines: Connect sensor data ingestion pipelines and stream network evidence into existing Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, SIEM platforms, and XDR/EDR tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic)
- Detection & Rule Engineering: Tune detection capabilities, customize Zeek scripts, and optimize analytics frameworks (using rulesets like Suricata) to catch advanced attacks and lateral movements.
Here’s What You Need
- 5 years of combined cybersecurity, network security, and systems engineering experience
- Deep familiarity with Network Security Monitoring (NSM), packet capture (PCAP), encrypted traffic inspection, and the open-source Zeek framework
- Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python) to develop custom tools that automate telemetry enrichment and response playbooks

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
