- The Role:This role is for a cybersecurity specialist in a bank’s Technology and Operations function.
- The Person:The person will develop security strategies, run risk assessments, vulnerability analysis and penetration testing, monitor security events, respond to incidents, and provide security awareness training.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in IT security, with security monitoring, incident response, threat analysis, and familiarity with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, CISSP, CISA or GIAC.

Business Function
Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
- Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security best practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threat landscape to continuously improve the organization's security posture
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of security within the organization
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with a strong understanding of security protocols, technologies, and best practices
- Proficient in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS)
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISA, or GIAC, are preferred
