Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to join our team and manage the Audio-Visual Operations and Support team. In this role, you will lead our AV operations and support team in maintaining our audio-visual platforms, including conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and enterprise AV systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience teams and serve as the focal point for delivering audio-visual capabilities that enhance and support the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with hands-on technical experience, and a proven track record of developing complex technical systems. We are looking for someone who is motivated to lead, organized, and driven to deliver the best audio-visual solutions for our employees.Â
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the delivery of all audio-visual capabilities that enhance and support the business
- Plan and execute AV infrastructure upgrades, supporting the AV engineering team, including system upgrades, technology refreshes, software updates, and integration enhancementsÂ
- Oversee the planning and execution of large corporate conferencing eventsÂ
- Manage vendor relationships with AV hardware and software vendorsÂ
- Develop proactive strategies related to AV deployments that minimize end-user impact at an enterprise levelÂ
- Implement and enforce AV security policies and best practicesÂ
- Align key technical decisions with business objectives while remaining hands-on with delivering technical outcomesÂ
- Provide direct technical guidance and support to the team and other departmentsÂ
- Partner with other EIS functions, working closely with Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience DepartmentsÂ
- Establish and enhance team processes identifying inefficiencies, risks, and ways to improve overall deliveryÂ
- Mentor, guide and support audio-visual and media services team members toward a positive and collaborative environmentÂ
- Participate in engineering architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernizationÂ
- Act as an ambassador and change agent to build a culture of continuous improvementÂ
- Ensure audio-visual equipment and software operate in alignment with organizational needs and standardsÂ
What you Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirement for Audiovisual Operations and Support Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant fieldÂ
- 3+ years of AV management or team leadership experienceÂ
- 5+ years in AV or engineering roles with a focus on enterprise audio-visual systemsÂ
- Strong knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Cisco collaboration tools)Â
- Experience with AV security practices and technologiesÂ
- Â Excellent project management skillsÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Experience performing root cause analysisÂ
- Hands-on experience in building enterprise level AV infrastructure and systemsÂ
- Proven experience coaching, providing direction, and motivating team membersÂ
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant fieldÂ
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI level clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance Experience developing and managing AV strategies, technical and product roadmaps, and leading teams to deliver new capabilitiesÂ
- Experience with video conferencing platforms and unified communications systemsÂ
- Firm understanding of network architecture and AV-over-IP technologies to maintain system standardsÂ
- Â Experience ensuring that service levels meet and/or exceed established standardsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organizationÂ
- Experience in the development of operational procedures, processes, and automation scriptsÂ
- Experience with integrating AV systems with business processes to optimize collaboration and productivityÂ
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and DSP programmingÂ
- Experience with Digital Signage and Enterprise Video DistributionÂ

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
