The Role:This role is for a senior systems infrastructure engineer supporting mission-critical technology environments for U.S. national interests.
The Person:The person will lead and perform systems engineering, troubleshoot Tier 2 through Tier 4 issues, maintain virtualization and enterprise services, manage data center operations, and track infrastructure changes and incidents in ServiceNow.
Requirements:The ideal candidate has 5+ years of systems engineering experience, an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and hands-on experience with Linux, VMware vCenter, VMware NSX-T, Active Directory, DNS, Splunk, and ServiceNow.

About the Role

Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support a critical Sponsor office responsible for building, operating, and securing hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure and services.

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining an enterprise ecosystem hosting dozens of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), Government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and custom applications alongside a large-scale data lake. Operating across on-premises data centers and commercial cloud (AWS) environments, you will lead complex engineering initiatives, deliver Tier 2 through Tier 4 problem resolution, maintain rigorous security baselines (DISA STIGs), and ensure continuous mission availability.

The salary range provided for this position represents the anticipated base salary for successful candidates. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, security clearance level, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in Redhorse's comprehensive benefits programs and may be eligible for performance-based or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
