We're seeking someone to join our Wealth Management Monitoring team as a Developer in Non-Financial Risk Technology (NFRT) to design, code and build technology surveillance solutions for our Risk and Compliance business partners and platforms.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Software Engineering position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
- Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
- [Build new features and functionality based on product requirements
- Help design application architecture (frontend, backend, APIs, databases)
- Fix bugs and refactor existing code
- Choose appropriate technologies and frameworks
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
- Participate in technical design discussions
- Follow coding standards and best practices

What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- [6+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java ecosystem
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Scala and Apache Spark on bigdata platform
- DevOps CI/CD experience on test and release automation
- Strong Database experience preferably with DB2, SQL Server, PostGreSQL
- Complete SDLC process and Agile Methodology (Scrum)
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate well with both technical and non-technical users
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
