Our Quality Engineering Team are looking to welcome a Quality Engineer to join their team. The objective is to align Collins Aerospace's internal requirements with customer demand and to develop measures that ensure these requirements are met and exceeded. This is an interim position.

What you will do 

  • Management of Non-conformance management

  • Management of Customer Concerns

  • Evaluation and visualization of Quality data (FPY) and driving improvement

  • Advising production on quality matters

  • Coordination and facilitation of production-related quality issues

  • Support projects in the designated value stream organization

  • Interface and collaboration between internal departments

  • Production, Purchasing, and Engineering for all processes concerning the “Product Quality” department

  • Strategic development of the value stream in relation to inspection procedures

  • Support in development projects regarding error prevention

  • Coordination of improvement projects

  • Implementation and maintenance of Collins-specific processes

  • Assistance to the Quality Manager in the regular evaluation of the management system

What you will learn

Experience & Skills  

  • Diploma or University degree of applied sciences

  • Master technician, graduate engineer in a technical field

  • Experience and training in the field of Quality

  • Professional experience in the manufacturing industry in the field of Quality

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications

  • Fluent in German & English is essential (C1)

  • Please note, this is an interim contract (2 years).

Certifications    

  • Formal qualifications in Technical Engineering and or Quality Engineering
