This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping our global investment strategy and influencing the future of investment services. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven leader with a pragmatic approach, exceptional leadership skills, and the agility to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Team:

Global Investment Center is at the heart of our retail growth strategy, with over €250bn in investment balances, and an ambitious target to double our fee income in 5 years.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Define, functionally steer and execute investment center strategy across all retail ING-markets

  • Lead organisational design initiatives to build a high-performing, cross-functional team and meet ambitious 2029 retail growth target
  • Help unlocking scalable capabilities - drive harmonisation of investment products to achieve efficiency and minimize country-specific customization
  • Identify and close proposition gaps through innovation and centralised product development. Ensure propositions deliver sustainable growth and align with ING’s risk appetite

  • Provide actionable insights through data analytics of investment performance and fee income to support strategic decisions and meet retail growth targets
  • Collaborate and steer  across global and local teams to align strategy, execution, and priorities

How to succeed

About you:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. Experience in consulting is a strong plus
  • Proven track record in retail strategy, large-scale transformations, and multi-country programmes
  • Proven international work experience
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, skilled stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work across diverse markets, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment
  • Knowledge of investment products and propositions
  • Passion and ambition to reinvent investments from the head to the heart, creating solutions that combine optimized and scalable performance with emotional customer engagement
  • Ability to simplify and clearly explain complex issues in an easy-to-understand way
