Job Description
Our client is a leading marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses improve their online visibility and drive organic traffic. They are seeking a knowledgeable Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that enhance search rankings, increase web traffic, and support overall marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze websites for SEO performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Conduct keyword research to inform content strategy and improve search visibility.
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, content, and internal linking for search engines.
- Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on search performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Conduct competitor analysis and track industry benchmarks.
- Develop and execute strategies for link-building and outreach campaigns.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in a marketing agency.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development practices is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO strategies.
- Understanding of content marketing and its relationship to SEO.
- Familiarity with PPC advertising and how it complements organic search efforts.
