Job Description
As a Senior R&D Process Development Engineer , you will play a key role in a multidisciplinary engineering team driving the design, development, and launch of next‑generation manufacturing platforms that enable future CT detector technologies. You will work closely with design and hardware teams to translate breakthrough concepts into scalable, automated production processes that deliver reliability, precision, and manufacturability at scale.
Your role:
- Team Collaboration: Work as a key member of the R&D process team to develop, test, and implement automated assembly solutions for future products.
- Process Development: design and optimization of new automatic assembly lines, specifically for high-precision CT detector modules.
- Hands-on Implementation: Support the integration and fine-tuning of Die Attach systems and Epoxy/solder Dispensing processes within the R&D lab and pilot lines.
- DFM Support: Participate in design reviews to provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) insights, ensuring that new detector designs are optimized for assembly.
- Technology Evaluation: Assist in benchmarking and testing new manufacturing technologies and equipment to determine their feasibility for future product lines.
- Validation & Documentation: Execute DOEs (Design of Experiments) and document process characterization as part of the team’s effort to meet medical regulatory standards.
You're the right fit if:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or B.Sc. in Physics (MSc – advantage).
- 7+years of experience in process development of detectors assembly.
- Experience working with Automatic Assembly systems.
- Practical experience with Die Attach and Epoxy/Adhesive Dispensing.
- Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
- A strong team player with an analytical mindset, comfortable working on long-term, innovative R&D projects where solutions aren't always "off-the-shelf."
- Fluent English (written and verbal) for communication within a global organization.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base monthly salary range for this grade R&D roles is [28,107]– [ 46,845] ILS . We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
