We are looking for a motivated candidate who is eager to learn and expand their analytical and communication skills, while providing day-to-day support for Sales and Trading teams across Foreign Exchange and Financing Solutions.
Great learning opportunity to get immersed in Foreign Exchange and Financing Solutions across Markets, working closely with Sales and Trading teams! A minimum of three days in-office presence is required.
The Front Office Trading Services (FOTS) team provides support across the globe (North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific) for State Street Market’s Sales & Trading Desks and acts as the primary liaison for external and internal clients. In addition to trading support and client services, the team works closely with Operations groups and participates in projects related to new trading initiatives, platform onboarding, integration, testing and implementation planning.Â

Your new role
As a Front Office Trading Services -Â Business Analyst you will:Â

Assist SSM Sales & Trading in trade support capacity and related responsibilitiesÂ
-
Research and resolve trade related inquiries from Sales and Trading, back office, fund groups, and clientsÂ
-
Monitor SSM’s trading systems and address/resolve issues with appropriate escalations.Â

Cancel, modify, and rebook trades primarily for FX but inclusive of other derivatives/securities (post-execution)

Support platform onboarding tasks (Front Office components) across Markets Platforms

Support eFX applications from both platform onboarding and monitoring alerts, step in to address exceptions as needed

Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with multiple departments (Trading, Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology, third party vendors) to resolve breaks and trade discrepancies on a time sensitive basisÂ

Participate in various projects that require FOTS expertise, involvement with testing or future supportÂ
-
Understand the intricacies of manual and/or exceptional processes on the Foreign Exchange/Financing Solutions desks and work with IT, Credit & Compliance, Operations and Business Risk teams to improve process inefficienciesÂ

Liaise with Client Support Services team with queries relating to the on-boarding of new businessÂ

Produce reporting for clients and internal useÂ

Strictly follow the controls and procedures to reduce risk to BusinessÂ

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – preferred Finance, Computer Science or related

Minimum 4 years of experience in financial services industry

Excellent English communication skills

Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CoPilot – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Considered an advantage:

Exposure to foreign exchange and/or agency lending

Familiarity with Python and SQL
Additional requirements :

The position requires office presence at least 3 days per week
Minimum Salary:​
zł132 000 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
