Role Overview
Provides strategic technical leadership for ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and implementation across AFS projects. Serves as the primary technical authority on ServiceNow capabilities, best practices, and solution design. Leads development teams, defines technical standards, and ensures all solutions meet enterprise needs and federal compliance requirements. Drives technical excellence across modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, and custom applications.
This is a fully onsite role offering a collaborative environment where you can connect with the team and contribute to our mission daily.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical strategy and architectural oversight for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
• Design scalable, complex ServiceNow solutions using workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations
• Guide and mentor development teams, including code review and workload management
• Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, coding practices, and architectural patterns
• Architect integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and Integration Hub
• Translate business requirements into technical designs through structured design sessions
• Perform advanced development, including custom applications and complex platform configurations
• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, performance standards, and upgrade-safe design
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, administrators, and business analysts
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level resolution
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and drive continuous platform improvement

Required Experience:

  • 6 years of ServiceNow technical experience, including platform architecture and development team leadership

 Required Certifications:

  • Certified Master Architect (CMA) OR Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI or higher

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
