Job Description

As an Engineering Program Manager within the HW Technology Program Management organization, you will be responsible for supporting the SoC validation environment in Apple’s New Product Introduction (NPI) factories, working with cross-functional software, hardware, product and silicon engineering teams. You will be an individual contributor, working on a Senior Project Management team, responsible for driving silicon program schedules, resolving technical issues, and enabling new Apple products with state of the art silicon.

Description

In this role, you will support the factory silicon validation environment for Apple’s new product introduction process, from first prototype builds through ramping for mass production, contributing to the release of the highest quality, state of the art SoCs in all of Apple’s products.

- Supporting forum that drives factory test software delivery and issue resolution with cross-functional teams
- Driving debug of silicon and system technical issues to closure by bringing together key partners
- Identifying risks and dependencies, generating mitigation plans and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to resolve
- Communicating program status and blocking issues to multi-functional teams
- Disciplined issue tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status and options for resolution to executive management

Minimum Qualifications

BS Degree in technical field
4+ years post-degree silicon validation and/or applicable manufacturing experience
Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
Dedicated to own/drive project planning and development
Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SOC Validation/Test/Software or Product Engineering is a plus.
Proven experience in Python or script languages.
1+ years Technical Program Management or Engineering Leadership experience
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to drive resolution of critical problems under pressure.
Ability to understand and extract action plans from complex technical discussions and translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive status reporting
Ability to connect the dots and identify gaps in process, planning and propose mitigations
Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management
