A Brief Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning activities, ensuring data integrity, and producing consistent, actionable financial analytics and reporting across the organization. This role supports strategic and operational decision-making through accurate data analysis, forecasting, and reporting, while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance financial methodologies and tools.

What you will do

  • Monitor and maintain financial planning and decision support systems, including data imports, audits, error resolution, and dictionary table updates.
  • Conduct monthly data integrity audits and financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy in analytics and reporting.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Research and prepare financial analytics for stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and recommending actionable insights.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and operating plan development, including payroll and reporting maintenance.
  • Understand and improve methodologies for cost, reimbursement, and other calculated financial metrics.
  • Develop and maintain reusable standard reports to streamline ad hoc analytics and decision-making
  • Investigate and resolve data integrity issues by understanding system structures and data sources.
  • Contribute to cost accounting, contract modeling, productivity analysis, and other financial planning functions.
  • Organize, execute, and present special projects as assigned by leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's from four-year college or university in Accounting, Business or related field.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
