What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Consultant, Test Automation is a professional responsible for leading the provision of testing tools and automation functions in compliance with established controls and standards. The role applies professional knowledge in defining and managing the function of centralized testing tools and automation for all channels. The Senior Consultant, IT Quality Assurance analyzes issues, data, processes and situations to develop testing tools and automation roadmaps aligned with project portfolio demand to define, implement, and maintain automation support models for multiple delivery methodologies. The role manages a team, leading, directing and motivating a team of employees and monitor performance to build expertise and capabilities. The role applies innovation and substantial communication and problem-solving skills in managing the department’s operating budget within approved limits.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Improve QA Automation processes through continuous innovation, provide recommendations / solutions. Advocate for industry best practices, delivery methodologies, automation, QA AI and ML Capabilities, tools, etc.

  • Analysis & Recommendations: Conduct analysis on existing automation and QA tools and provide recommendations.  Benchmark the PSBT’s test maturity against industry standards and develop actionable plans to address gaps and opportunities. Prioritize goals and quick wins based on value, stakeholder and enterprise priorities

  • Project Management: Manage medium to large work packages simultaneously. Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business.  Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. 

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: 10+ years of experience in an Automation Consultant/ Architect level role with a strong understanding of the SDLC. You have knowledge of process improvement, change management, quality management methods, Agile delivery, as well as, IT standards, procedures and policies. You have expertise in Selenium, Playwright, UFT, LeanFT tools, programming languages such as Java, C#/.Net, API testing and automation tools (PARASOFT SOA, SOAP UI, Rest Assured API). Should be well versed with implementing frameworks and exposure on SQL DB. Experience in Virtualization (IBM RIT, PARASOFT etc. virtualization tools) will be an asset to have. Leading QA Programs and teams through automation delivery. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as, excellent leadership skills with the ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization.

  • You can demonstrate experience in developing intelligent automation solutions. Knowledge of Contact Center operations is an asset, while proficiency in AI technologies and CoPilot is required.
