About the Role
This is the first infrastructure hire at an early-stage agentic integration platform, working directly with the CTO on a leadership track. You'll own the full infra and platform layer from day one — and grow into leading the team that builds it. The work sits at the intersection of durable execution, agent infrastructure, and self-hostable deployment.
What You'll Do

Own and evolve the runtime platform: durable execution, sandboxed isolation, and self-healing infrastructure — essentially a mini cloud for integration workloads.

Build and scale agent infrastructure that enables coding agents to write, test, and deploy integration code in production.

Design and maintain full observability across every integration and agent (logs, metrics, traces), and ship it as a single-tenant, self-hostable product.

Set the engineering patterns and foundations that every future infrastructure hire will build on.

Ship to production constantly, operating as a peer to the founding team.

Help grow and eventually lead the infrastructure team within approximately one year.
What We're Looking For

3+ years of engineering experience, ideally at a high-growth startup in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.

Proven experience designing and implementing observability pipelines (logs, metrics, tracing) for production systems.

Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

Strong backend skills in TypeScript and PostgreSQL.

Comfort owning ambiguous, high-scope problems with minimal direction.

Interest in or experience with agentic systems, integration platforms, or developer tooling is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $175,000 – $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in San Francisco, CA, United States.
