- The Role:This role leads the build and rollout of a UK ecological sensor network for a focused research organisation.
- The Person:The person will design and refine the sensor suite, run the UK field rollout, lead technicians, manage site logistics, train staff, and evaluate new technologies and data sources.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience in designing and delivering large, multimodal sensor networks, telemetry and data transfer solutions, ecological monitoring technologies, and security best practice for unattended field hardware.
About the role
Echo Labs is building the scientific and technical foundation for ecological intelligence: a multimodal system to measure, model, and forecast ecosystem condition as a dynamic property. We are a new Focused Research Organisation (FRO), supported by Convergent Research and funded by ARIA, pursuing high-risk, high-reward science with a public good mission.
