  • The Role:Provide student-centred educational and pastoral support focused on behaviour, attendance and intervention work with students and parents/carers in a secondary school setting.
  • The Person:Support the college by delivering learning and pastoral activities, devising and delivering student-centred support, and working with pastoral staff and the attendance team on interventions with students and parents/carers.
  • Requirements:Successful applicants will need to hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS clearance and be able to deliver student-centred support and intervention with students and parents/carers.

About the role

Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only, working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 12 months

The successful candidate will join an established team of educational staff.  They will support the College by contributing to a wide range of learning and pastoral activities.  They will devise and deliver high-quality, student-centred support to maximise their ability to access learning and thrive at secondary school, working closely alongside pastoral staff and the attendance team in intervention work with students and parents/carers.
