- The Role:This role is for a financial analyst focused on accounting, reporting and ERP-related finance processes.
- The Person:The person will handle General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, SOX compliance, audit support, and accounting documentation.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, 2-3 years of relevant experience, SAP or Oracle ERP systems experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
About the role
Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst supports end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting by ensuring accurate General Ledger processes, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. The role also contributes to process improvements, internal controls, and audit support while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities & Requirements:

Perform General Ledger accounting activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.

Support SOX compliance and internal/external audits.

Identify accounting issues and drive process improvements.

Collaborate with site controllers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and SOPs.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is an advantage.

Professional accounting certification is a plus.

Fluent English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
