  • The Role:This role is for a senior engineer focused on technology development in advanced CMOS and eNVM process integration and device areas.
  • The Person:The person will develop and qualify new processes, create new process flows and specifications, and work across process module, device, reliability, product engineering and fab operation teams to resolve yield and quality issues.
  • Requirements:The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent, plus 1 to 2 years in Process Integration or Device Engineering and knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.

Introduction:  

We are looking for candidates who are interested in technology development in advanced CMOS and eNVM process integration and device areas.

Responsibilities:   

  • To develop differentiated technology through various maturity milestones (from proof-of-concept to ready-for-production) by meeting the requirements for electrical, mechanical, thermal, reliability, and customer specifications and contribute to GLOBALFOUNDRIES' corporate objective to be the leader in providing solutions to customers. 
  • To integrate new processes throughout development, qualification, and technology release/transfer phases with emphasis on integration related matters to meet the technology release requirements
  • To work with different teams (process module, device, reliability, product engineering & fab operation) to develop and qualify new technologies/processes
  • To integrate new processes, design test structures, create new process flow (STF, ECN, etc), define new ET and inline specs, during technology development phase.
  • To characterize and qualify the integrated processes to meet the technology release requirements
  • Interact and coordinate with Product Engineering and Device Engineering teams to resolve yield and quality issues of the new processes during development
  • To perform data analysis and problem solving for ET, yield, process and Reliability issues.

Qualifications & Experiences:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
  • Min. 1-2 years experience in a Process Integration / Device Engineering.
  • Knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.
