This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA
This is your chance to be part of the next generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics (SIA) team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton's strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton's goals. As a Senior Analyst, Enterprise Analytics, you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, as well as Investor Relations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Enterprise Analytics team reporting to Director, Enterprise Analytics, you will support projects including Quarterly Business Reviews, internal and external presentations on the state of the industry and the economy, and other ad hoc analyses as required.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Assist Director in planning for successful Quarterly Business Reviews. Help communicate results and expectations to Investor Relations.
- Develop analyses and presentation decks explaining industry and macro-economic performance.
- Stay current on drivers of industry and economic performance.
- Build a model of industry performance.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Work across SIA, Investor Relations and Finance to help explain Hilton performance and drivers across a wide variety of metrics.
Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
- Facilitate Quarterly Business Review, including economic and industry analysis, data validation, meeting support and ad hoc analyses.
- Understand drivers of hotel industry forecasts and actual results and use this knowledge to build a model predicting industry performance.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in hospitality, consulting or other analytics-focused role
- Experience creating executive quality presentations and presenting complex information to senior stakeholders
- Hybrid Schedule from McLean, VA
It would be useful if you have:
- Advanced R or Python skills
- Advanced understanding of macro-economic principles
