Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end integration, verification, and validation testing across transportation systems (ticketing, fare collection, backend platforms)
• Conduct front-end testing on user interfaces and devices
• Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and test procedures
• Perform functional, interface, regression, and performance testing
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Validate ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure accurate data flow
• Verify transaction data, perform reconciliation between systems
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies
• Verify accuracy and consistency of system-generated reports
• Ensure data integrity between front-end transactions, backend systems, and reporting outputs
• Log, track, and manage defects; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
• Participate in on-site testing, commissioning, and go-live activities
• Prepare test reports, validation evidence, and documentation for stakeholders and audits

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in IVVQ, system testing, or data validation roles
• Proven experience in both:
  • Front-end testing (UI, devices, system workflows)
  • Back-end validation (database, ETL, reporting)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SQL Server (complex queries, joins, aggregations)
  • ETL testing / data warehouse validation
• Experience in data reconciliation and report validation
• Familiarity with test and defect management tools
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in transportation systems or AFC (Automatic Fare Collection)
• Familiarity with ETL tools (SSRS or similar)
• Knowledge of payment systems
• Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Shell)
