As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer – System Safety, your technical expertise in systems development and safety engineering will be instrumental in the development of safety-critical systems and cutting-edge Avionics solutions for the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of system safety activities to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable and innovative Avionics Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain system safety requirements, ensuring proper allocation, traceability, validation, and verification
  • Perform and support system safety analyses, including: 
    • Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
    • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
    • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    • Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
  • Support system design and architecture activities to ensure safety considerations are incorporated early and throughout development
  • Contribute to systems integration efforts, identifying and addressing safety impacts across interfaces and subsystems
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including systems, software, hardware, safety, and certification engineering
  • Support compliance with applicable aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance
  • Assist with technical documentation, reviews, and certification artifacts in accordance with Honeywell processes
