As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer – System Safety, your technical expertise in systems development and safety engineering will be instrumental in the development of safety-critical systems and cutting-edge Avionics solutions for the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of system safety activities to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable and innovative Avionics Systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain system safety requirements, ensuring proper allocation, traceability, validation, and verification
- Perform and support system safety analyses, including:
- Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
- Support system design and architecture activities to ensure safety considerations are incorporated early and throughout development
- Contribute to systems integration efforts, identifying and addressing safety impacts across interfaces and subsystems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including systems, software, hardware, safety, and certification engineering
- Support compliance with applicable aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance
- Assist with technical documentation, reviews, and certification artifacts in accordance with Honeywell processes
