Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, governance, and operational management of a large-scale Microsoft Azure environment. This role requires deep Azure expertise, strong infrastructure and security knowledge, and experience leading enterprise cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Configure Azure networking, security, governance, and compliance policies.
- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor and optimize Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts.
- Perform infrastructure troubleshooting and production support.
- Drive vulnerability remediation and security improvements.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of enterprise Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience.
- 7+ years of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; ARM/Bicep acceptable).
- 10+ years implementing Azure networking, security, governance, and monitoring.
- 10+ years planning and executing on-premises to Azure cloud migrations.
- 10+ years managing enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, observability, dashboards, and alerting.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security best practices.
- Strong networking knowledge (OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Networking certifications (CCNA, Network+, or equivalent).
