Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of Cash Management across Europe? As a Product Manager in our Wholesale Banking domain, you'll take ownership of a key product suite that supports leading corporates and financial institutions in managing their global liquidity. This is an opportunity to drive strategic impact, influence product direction, and help our clients stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.

With full responsibility for product performance, innovation, and client value, you will play a central role in strengthening ING’s presence in the Transaction Services market.

The team

You will join the Product Management Payments & Cash Management team, part of ING’s Transaction Services business line. The team oversees the commercial performance and long-term evolution of our payments and cash management products across Europe.

Within the Product Area Accounts & Cash Management, you will work closely with colleagues from Sales, Client Services, Sector Teams, and the newly established Delivery Management organization. Together, you contribute to solutions that empower treasurers to optimize their global cash positions, manage risk, and gain better control over banking costs.
The culture is collaborative, data‑driven, and focused on continuous improvement, with a strong European network enabling cross‑border alignment and shared learning.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the strategic development and commercial performance of ING’s Cash Management offering. You will:

  • Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle to ensure long‑term competitiveness and client relevance.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day product performance and P&L, using data and insights to guide decisions.
  • Develop clear product propositions and business cases, including identifying key data for tracking performance.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to drive product enhancements and commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor and update product policies, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage non‑financial risks and ensure operational excellence through engagement in audits, issue management, and key control testing.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Client Services, and Sector Teams to support commercial activities and client pitches.
  • Align with the Delivery Management organization to ensure seamless translation of business needs into technical requirements and flawless 24/7 operations.

How to succeed

  • The ability to take ownership of complex product areas and drive long‑term strategy.
  • Analytical strength and the ability to make decisions based on facts and data.
