How will you make an impact?- Â
Â
Jabil is seeking a Server Platform Engineer who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Enterprise and Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems of server solutions for our customers.   You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end definition, development and customer sample validation of server and rack level solutions spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions.  You will also be responsible for interfacing with customers, sales, marketing, CTO, and product engineering teams to ensure your deliverables meet the creative solutioning and optimal performance expected of our customers. *****This position is not eligible for immigration and/or visa sponsorship. What will you do? -   Â

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to lead systems engineering/management, guiding customer solutions focusing on application, storage, and networking performance.Â

Perform system assembly, system-level validation, and debug of server platforms to support customer samples and solution validation.Â

Own end-to-end customer escalation management, including issue triage, root cause analysis, supplier coordination, and critical bug resolution.Â

Lead maintenance release activities, including technology transitions, supply continuity, and implementation of approved design updates.Â

Engage directly with customers and partners to understand business needs and demonstrate Jabil’s solution capabilities.Â

Drive pre-sales technical activities to identify and enable new design opportunities in collaboration with sales teams.Â

Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with key customer accounts and support account growth objectives.Â

Ensure timely and successful delivery of development efforts for both new and sustaining products.Â

Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering closely with sales, architecture, and business unit teams.Â

Deliver technical presentations, training, and updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.Â

Design and develop customer sample systems and define activities required to transition solutions to mass production.Â

Provide onsite and ongoing customer support, including issue resolution and technical guidance.Â

Manage and track firmware, BIOS, and BMC updates throughout the product lifecycle.Â

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve solution effectiveness.Â

Support global customer engagement, including up to 10% domestic and international travel.Â

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  Â

Exposure to architecture, design and configuration and deployment of server, storage and networking systems

Working knowledge of server products including embedded remote management standards, interfaces and applications

Expertise into all aspects of server and storage system performance, including raw, synthetic and application proxy workloads, performance analysis, debug and optimization from the device to the application level

Facilitation of test results databases and visualization technologies to enable rapid decision making and conclusions

Expertise with Linux operating systems, related applications and script development

Ability to travel up to 10% both domestic and internationalÂ

Hiring Range: $83,400 - $116, 800 -- $150,000 USD Annual
