About the Role:

Flxpoint a profitable fast growing SaaS company with offices in Jacksonville Florida, and team members worldwide is scaling its ecommerce automation platform and expanding deep integrations across major ecommerce, marketplace, and ERP ecosystems. We're hiring a senior-level, hands-on Principal Integrations Engineer to architect, build, and optimize high-impact integrations that power order routing, inventory sync, catalog automation, and vendor connectivity for hundreds of online retailers.

You will own complex integrations end-to-end, help define our connectivity strategy, and influence the technical direction of our integrations platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ecommerce, marketplace, and ERP integrations (API, EDI, file-based)

  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing integrations

  • Collaborate with Product, Solutions, and Support teams to define integration requirements and deliver robust solutions

  • Establish engineering-wide best practices for integration design and development

  • Mentor other engineers on integration architecture, data modeling, and API/ETL workflows

  • Troubleshoot and optimize high-volume catalog, order, and inventory workflows

  • Contribute to evolving our internal Integration Platform tooling, connectors, and adapter strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building ecommerce integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL, SDKs)

  • Strong Java development skills

  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, and NetSuite

  • English fluency at a C1 or C2 level

  • Time zone alignment with EST

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling high-volume product catalogs (10k to 1M+ SKUs)

  • Familiarity with job queues, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture

  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, GraphQL, REST, webhooks, and rate-limiting strategies

  • Experience with EDI formats (850, 855, 856, 810) or supplier-side B2B integrations

  • Strong debugging skills in complex, real-world data environments

  • Mentorship or team leadership experience

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)

  • You independently ship a complex integration from architecture to production

  • You establish scalable patterns for adding new integrations

  • You become the internal SME on ecommerce APIs and integration strategy

  • You improve performance and reliability across high-traffic integration flows

What's in it For You

  • Full-time, remote role based in Latin America

  • Competitive USD compensation: $60,000 - $72,000 USD per year

  • Flexible hours with strong preference for EST overlap

  • Yearly trips to USA HQ
