<h2><strong>What you will do</strong></h2>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li1">Develop and maintain in-vehicle software running on our ECU </li>
<li class="li1">Extend and improve existing monitoring systems used to track the state of our fleet </li>
<li class="li1">Interface with VW Group, vendors, and other partners to align on software interfaces, tooling, and hardware </li>
<li class="li1">Support the team with expert knowledge and guidance in embedded engineering, mentor colleagues in your field of expertise and provide direction if needed </li>
<li class="li1">Shape and contribute to our development processes regarding automotive standards </li>
<li class="li1">Be part of the full development life cycle, from design to implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance </li>
<li class="li1">Work in a bottom-up managed, autonomous, cross-functional team together with other talented engineers </li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>What will help you to fulfill your role </strong></h2>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li1">A university degree in Engineering or similar</li>
<li class="li1">Profound knowledge of <strong>C++</strong> (11/14 or later),<strong> Python, Bash</strong> and communication protocols like <strong>MQTT</strong> and <strong>SOME/IP</strong> </li>
<li class="li1">Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, IPv6, VLAN configuration, and SOCKS proxy</li>
<li class="li1">Experience with SiL and HiL testing integrated into <strong>CI/CD</strong> </li>
<li class="li1">Proven track record in industries with <strong>high reliability and quality </strong>demands (automotive, medical, aerospace, or similar), specifically considering <strong>ASPICE</strong>, <strong>ISO26262, homologation</strong></li>
