The Role:This is a senior Java backend engineering role focused on building high-quality software solutions for healthcare clients.
The Person:The person will develop maintainable code, review code, mentor team members, design scalable applications, and contribute to an Agile team’s continuous improvement.
Requirements:The role requires extensive experience in backend development, excellent knowledge of Java, expert-level Spring Boot, event-driven architecture, RabbitMQ, relational and NoSQL databases, and unit testing.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join an ambitious and international team working on solutions that enhance patient care and advance healthcare globally. You will work in a collaborative environment where your expertise can make a meaningful impact and help deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you will

Develop clean, well-tested, and maintainable code for complex client solutions

Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality through unit testing and engineering best practices

Mentor team members and support their professional and career development

Collaborate with the team to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications

Actively contribute to an Agile development team and its continuous improvement

What you will bring

Extensive experience in backend development

Excellent knowledge of Java

Expert-level knowledge of the Spring Boot framework

Strong understanding of event-driven architecture principles and hands-on experience with message queues, such as RabbitMQ

Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, including database migrations

Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented programming principles

Experience designing scalable and reliable applications

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with highly skilled developers and product owners

Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken

Salary range:

103 - 164 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)

14 270 - 22 200 PLN gross (Permanent)
