Position Description:
PAR is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator – Experience Portal to join the team. PAR is an international, fast-paced, high-growth environment, and our technology stack is cloud- and SaaS-first with minimal on-prem footprint. The ideal candidate embraces diverse perspectives and brings deep Experience Cloud (Community/Portal) administration expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset—while always keeping business outcomes front and center.
The Senior Salesforce Administrator – Experience Portal is a critical member of the team who helps maximize the value of the Salesforce platform by configuring, optimizing, and governing scalable Experience Cloud solutions that support customer, partner, and external user engagement. Working closely with Product Management, business stakeholders, Salesforce Developers, QA, DevOps Engineers, and integration teams, you will contribute to solution discovery, configuration, and delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
This role focuses on hands-on administration and configuration across Salesforce Experience Cloud, ensuring secure, high-performing, and user-friendly portals aligned with PAR’s technology standards, security requirements, and compliance needs.

What We’re Looking For:
• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Experience Cloud configurations
• Configure, enhance, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud sites using declarative tools such as Experience Builder, Flows, validation rules, and page layouts
• Administer and optimize Experience Cloud features including:
o Customer and partner portals
o User registration, login, and authentication flows
o Profile- and permission-based access models
o Page layouts, navigation, branding, and content
• Configure data visibility and sharing models to ensure secure access for external users
• Manage external and internal users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and access controls
• Collaborate with Service Cloud teams to expose cases, knowledge articles, and self-service capabilities through the portal
• Support and coordinate integrations with internal and external systems in partnership with development and integration teams
• Ensure Experience Cloud configurations comply with security, compliance, identity, and data governance standards
• Monitor portal usage, performance, adoption, and user experience
• Perform proactive system maintenance including Salesforce release updates, security reviews, health checks, and optimizer recommendations
• Analyze existing portal configurations and recommend improvements for usability, scalability, accessibility, and performance
• Support data management activities including imports, updates, and synchronization relevant to Experience Cloud use cases
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and QA to support testing, deployment, and post-release validation
• Participate in release planning, environment coordination, and post-release support
• Evaluate new Salesforce Experience Cloud features and enhancements for business value
• Promote reuse, automation, and low-code/no-code best practices across portal solutions
• Maintain Experience Cloud documentation, standards, and operational runbooks

Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, with strong hands-on administration experience in Experience Cloud
• Deep functional knowledge of Experience Cloud including portals, user access models, sharing, and branding
• Experience exposing Service Cloud features (Cases, Knowledge, self-service) through Experience Cloud
• Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration and automation tools (Flows, validation rules, approvals)
• Strong experience managing Salesforce security and access models for internal and external users (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing)
• Experience working within a formal Salesforce Application Lifecycle Management environment (Dev / QA / UAT / Prod)
Nice to Have
• Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), identity management, or authentication providers
• Experience using Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Gearset
• Experience working in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
• Exposure to Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, or cross-cloud integrations
• Experience supporting systems during M&A or large-scale platform changes
