Job Description

What You'll Do

We are excited to announce an opening for a Data Analyst within our Data Strategy and Analytics team in Private Markets. This role is focused on enabling business processes through data-driven insights and creating efficiencies across our investment teams. A candidate that is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment will be successful in this role.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Effectively mine data sources and provide relevant information in an easily consumable manner.
  • Learn and understand business processes to identify areas for improvement utilizing technology, data, and analytics.
  • Actively Collaborate with stakeholders, including investment teams and IT, to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights, with partnered recommended process changes and technology.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing data to support business initiatives.
  • Develop new visualizations and tools to enhance communication and insights utilization.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Exposure to the company’s lines of business including investments products. Real Estate knowledge a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and statistical skills with the ability to address both structured and unstructured business issues.
  • High degree of commitment to quality deliverables
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects with varying priority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and being a great teammate
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$55800 - $71000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environment

This role is located in our corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA.  This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), in our Des Moines office.
